A Bexley Swimming Club team missing several key members, won a hard fought final gala in the 3rd Round on the Arena League at Canterbury, which saw Bexley crowned Division 2 East Champions.
After a slow start which saw us in fourth position after the first ten events, we slowly but surely pulled back any deficit and finished well deserved winners.
There were some fine swims throughout the evening with special mention to Jess Owen and Bethan Davies for fine Breaststroke swims to Dylan Child, Harry Rennolls, Nathaniel Stratton, Jake Forrest and Joe Doublet for swimming up an age group and to Lucie Rowsell and Lauren Samwell for some fine debut swims.
But once again this was a fine overall team performance. |

Well done to all team members during this Gala and over the series of these three Arena League Galas. Having won all three galas we finished worthy champions and have now been promoted to Division 1.
