The Jack Petchey Award was established in 1999 and gives grants to programmes and projects that benefits young people of the ages between 11 and 25 years.
Jack Petchey set up the Jack Petchey Foundation as he wanted to give opportunities to young people in London. Over the last tem years he has donated over £65 million to schools, clubs and projects which benefit young people in London. In 2004 Jack was awarded an OBE at Buckingham Palace, by Her Majesty The Queen.
We have been part of this award for several years and have made use of the money given to us by the Foundation in various ways.
